Kaiser Wilhelm monument
The Kaiser Wilhelm monument is located in Porta Westfalica in North Rhine Westphalia. The memorial shows Kaiser Wilhelm the first which was Germany’s imperator from 1871 till 1888.
The historical monument was opened in 1896 by Kaiser Wilhelm the second and is the landmark of Porta Westfalica next to the Weser River. The Wilhelm Denkmal is designed by Kaspar von Zumbusch, the architect was Bruno Schmitz. From the memorial platform you can enjoy the view over the Weser hills and the cities Porta Westphalia and Bad Oeynhausen.
