Air Asia Airline

Clouds

Clouds

Air Asia is a Cheap Airline with headquarter on the International Airport in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Air Asia is famous here in Southeast Asia for good planes, good service and of course for the amazing Air Net here in Asia. The rules of Air Asia are: 15 kg luggage and no food or drinks are included of the flight price. Often the prices of Air Asia are cheaper than a Bus or Train conection. Food, Drinks and Souvenirs are available on Bord of the Airbus Planes. The prices are not much higher than anywhere else in South East Asia. This Airline is perfect for Traveler and Backpackers, to book a flight is easy as when you buy a bus ticket! All AirAsia Flights are bookable at the Internet via Credit Card on AirAsia.Com. On the check in counter you don’t need a ticket just your passport. The counter is open till half hour before the Airplane start, that allows much more freedom on your travel plan. I was already on six Air Asia flights and everyone was cheap, on time and had a perfect Board service.

The Air Planes are provided with leather seats. The space for the legs is wide enough as well for a huge guy like me. But the best on Air Asia Airline is the price. It’s amazing cheap! The flightprice for my trip to Kuala Lumpur and Bali was together about 70 € excluded Airport Tax for four flights: from Bangkok Suvannabhumi to KL International, from KL to Depensar on Bali and both return. An other flight from Chiang Mai to Bkk in Thailand was 950 Thai Baht compared to the night train it was about 100 Baht more expansive but we save 13 hours. I can recommend Air Asia, it’s a good choose for business, holidays and traveling!

Vachiratharn/Wachiratan Waterfall – Chiang Mai – Thailand

Near the Waterfall

Near the Waterfall

The Wachiratan Waterfall is located at Thailand’s highest Mountain Doi Inthanon. Here at the National Park are three Waterfall in total, but the Nam Tok Vachiratharn is the the most spectacular Waterfall in this Area. The Doi In National Park is about 80 km out of Chiang Mai City and easy to reach by Minivan or Public Bus. It´s a turn from about one hour by Van. The public Bus need about one and a half hours from Chiang Mai Center. From the entry from the National Park of Thailand there are some Mini Busses which go direct to Nam Tok Wachiratan. From the park place it is just a short walk to the Waterfall. You can not reach the Nam Tok Wachirathan more than 50 meters without getting wet. So be careful of your Camera or other private things. Next to the Fall are steps where you can climb up till nearly the top of this high Waterfall in Southeast Asia. For more Information about the Nam Tok Wachiratn at Thailand’s Chiang Mai Province read the Lonely Planet Guide Book or ask in a local booking office. Nam Tok Vachiratharn is the official name, in the most English Travel Guides they write it as Wachiratan Waterfalls. But it doesn’t matter how the name is! This Waterfall in North Thailand is one of the spectacular and beautifulest I ever saw.

Mochaccino, As fresh as it gets!

Mochaccino, As fresh as it gets!

If I stay on Koh Chang you will find me nearly every morning at the Mochaccino Coffee house in Kai Bae Beach. Here you get a world class coffee and other Austrian delicatessens. The friendly and helpful staff team from Mochaccino on Koh Chang in Thailand serve as well fruit salads and other small snacks. In the evening you can come here for Chang and Singha Beers in a relaxt and familiar atmosphere. The owner of Mochaccino help always for reservations and give good travel tips around Koh Chang Island. My favorites are the fresh Americano Coffee in the morning, Ice Cappuccino in the afternoon and Beer Chang in the evening. You don’t like Coffee? No Problem, the Coffee House in Kai Bae offer much more: Milk Shakes, fresh fruit shakes, Tea, Wine, ADSL Internet and many many more. Come in and try the taste of real fresh coffee at Kai Bae in Thailand. This Café is one of my top addresses here on Ko Chang Island and in hole Southeast Asia. Siam Cottage Bungalows

Siam Cottage Bungalows

The Siam Cottage Bangalows are the right choice for backpackers and travelers in Kai Bae Beach on Koh Chang island. All simple Bungalows from this guest house in Thailand have a own bathroom. You have the choice between fan and air-condition. The rooms with fan are of course cheaper. The Restaurant of Siam Cottage Accommodation serve Thai- Western food and fresh fruit shakes for a fair price direct on the beach of Koh Chang. From the balcony you have a good view to the small islands like Koh Yuak in the bay of Kai Bae. The sea here is about 29C warm and invite for swimming and snorkeling. I was middle 2008 here in this accommodation on Koh Chang in the Gulf of Thailand. I paid 300 Thai Baht for a easy Hut with fan and a own Bathroom with toilet. Siam Cottage is a good adress for people who looking for a guesthouse with style. Here you can enjoy your holiday while you chill in your hangmate and read your Lonely Planet travel guide under coconut palms.

Sri Ayuttaya Guest House – Bangkok – Thailand

Sri Ayuttaya Guest House

Sri Ayuttaya Guest House

This good address offer wooden simple rooms in the capital of Thailand. Here I check always in when I stay in Bangkok. The Sri Ayuttaya Guest House is in the heart of Thewet. The rooms were always clean when I checked in here. At this accommodation you have the choice between simple rooms with fan and share bathroom or a room with air-condition and own toilet. On the ground floor is a small restaurant with Farang and Western food for a good price. If this hostel fully booked you have the choice to check in the Tavee Guest House just behind the Sri Ayuttaya. Both Hostels are owned by the same friendly family. From the hostel it’s just a 5 minutes walk over the Thewet Flower Market to the river Express Boats witch connect you with many sights and central Bangkok. The backpacker street Khoa San Road is about 1 km away and offer many options to go out at night. The booking office on the reception offer Bus, Train and Plane tickets to many destinations worldwide. For small money you can leave your heavy things here while you traveling. Next door there is a Massage studio and an Internet Café. Just opposite is a 7eleven supermarket witch offer everything what you need on your Thailand traveling tour. If you have any more questions look in your Thailand Lonely Planet or ask the friendly staff on the reception in one of southeast Asia best guest houses. I can recommend this small but good accommodation with a nice atmosphere to all travelers and backpackers who stay in this southeast Asian metropolis named Bangkok.

Oodie’s Place – Koh Chang – Thailand

Oodie’s Place is a restaurant in the north end of White Sand Beach on Koh Chang. This Restaurant offer a good offer on French, Italian and Thai dishes. My favorite at Oodies is Pasta. But many people don´t come for dinner, the most people come for the music! Every evening you can listen to live music. The live band at Oodies Place in Had Sai Kao play the best of Reggae, Rock and love songs. Here you can enjoy good music by a cold beer or a bottle of Sangsom. When the owner Oodies is on stage of this nice restaurant and bar you will hear world class Blues and Rock n´Roll. In the back of Oodies Bar there is a pool table where you can play for free. For me it is the best address at White Sands Beach on Ko Chang in Thailand. I was here many times with friends to drink Chang Beers, Sangsom and of course for listen to the guitar of Oodie. Try it out, this place is uniqe in Thailand and on Koh Chang!

On the 11th of February 2009 Moun, a good friend and I was travel by car to the Nam Tok Phlio National Park. This National Park is in the Chanthaburi province of Thailand. The Phlio Waterfall is about 15 km out of town. If you travel with public transport it´s easy to take a sawngthaew (share taxi) from the market in Chanthaburi. The turn will take you about 30 minutes. The National Park fee was 200 Thai Baht for falangs and 40 Baht for locals. For the up to date price take a look inside the Lonely Planet Thailand. The Nam Tok Phlio is the most visited Waterfall in this Park. The Fall is beautiful but actual the carps are the attraction. Many huge black carps are in the natural pool on the foot from the fall. You can buy vegetables to feed this nice fishes. Swimming is allowed in the fresh, 10 meter deep water. From the parking place it´s about 400 meter walk on a good walking way to the waterfall. The Nam Tok Phlio Waterfall is one of the beauties i ever saw in Thailand. I can recommend this day trip to all travelers, tourists and backpacker who are in Thailands Canthaburi province in southeast Asia.
