Kho Kut is an island in the Gulf of Thailand which belongs to Thailand’s Trad province. The exotic beaches and the untouched nature are unique on the Koh Chang archipelago. From Trat Bus terminal you can catch taxis to the ferry pier which is the onliest gateway to Ko Chan, Koh Wai and the other islands of the KC archipelago. If you want to get there by car than you can travel on the highway 3 which connects Trad city with Chantaburi, Pattaya and Bangkok. Trat town has some guest houses, hotels and resorts for a stay in eastern Thailand. The Pop Guest House is a good Thailand accommodation option for budget traveler in Asia. If you like a bit more comfort than is the Golden Cliff Beach Resort a good choice on the mainland of Trad Thailand. On Khao San Road are some clubs, bars, pubs and massage shops for late night entertainment in Bangkok’s backpacker street number one. Brick Bar, Cinnamon Bar, Hippie de Bar, AB Bar and the Silk Bars are good locations for Bangkok nightlife if you like to go out and meet other traveler. Shamrock Irish Pub offers draft beer and a scene location with Irish flair. The Gazebo Bar offers good cocktails and has great live music on the roof top in Khaosan Road. People who like clubbing in Thailand are right at The Lava Club, Immortal, The Club and Café Democ which plays pop, electro, new wave, rave and hip hop music. The 999West Bar has a pool table and is the right choice for exalted Khao San Nightlife. There you can enjoy cool beverages and can watch the busy Susie walking street at night. The most Khao San Road massage studios close at 12 o’clock. Till then you get traditional Thai massages, oil massages and spa packages. Some guest houses in Kaosan Bangkok have beer gardens or beer bars for people who don’t like to go out for nightlife. The Nat guest house in the heart of Khao San Bangkok for example is a good possibility to stay in your hostel and doesn’t miss the night life on the road. If you travel to Khao San Road in Bangkok you will find the right location for nightlife. Just take a ramble over Kaosarn and enjoy the night market and the great night clubs and cozy traveler nightlife bars here in this part of Bangkok in Thailand.
Thailand, this country in South East Asia has for everyone the right destination. At north vales and mountains with evergreen Forrest dominate the landscapes. North Thailand is the right choice for culture and temple fans. Many tourists come for rafting, hiking or to see the minorities near the golden triangle. My travel favorites in this region in Thailand are Pai, Phrae and Chiang Mai with great waterfalls at the Doi Inthanon national park.
The north east of Thailand as well knowed as Isaan offer traditional country life and beautiful landscapes with neon green rice fields. The right choice for culture tourists, traveler and honeymooner in Asia.
Bangkok Thailand
In central Thailand are many holiday and honeymoon destinations which are interested in old temple architecture. My favorite historical temple cities here in this part of Thailand are Sukhothai and Ayuttaya. As well many nature tourists and traveler come to central Thailand to visit the wild national parks like the Khao Yai or the Kanchanaburi province with nice hillsides and the river Kwai. Bangkok, the capital, is a good intersection for backpacker and tourist on an Asia round trip.
The Gulf of Thailand have some great tropical islands for beach life fans and Thailand beach holidays who like to hang around in a cozy beach hut direct on a paradise beach. Koh Chang, Ko Samui, Koh Tao or Ko Pha-Ngan is the top destinations for traveler and people who like beach holiday. Pattaya is the party and luxury resort center of this great country in SE Asia.
The south has many beaches and holiday areas at long the Andaman coast. My favorites are Koh Phi Phi which belongs to the Krabi province and Phuket, the party and tourist area in south Thailand. But wherever you go, you will find everywhere friendly and hospitable people. The prices for a cheap Guest House are about 100-250 Thai Baht and can reach up to 15000 or more for a five star luxury resort. In Thailand you have the choice!
