The special here is that the water for the bathtub’s is comming direct from the hot springs here in Ranong. It’s perfect to take a natural mineral bath after a hard travel day. The rooms at Spa Inn are clean and big enough for two people. To the springs in south Thailand it’s just a short walk at long the highway 4. This guest house is a perfect option for travelers and tourists who looking for a cheap hostel with comfort and style. Live Music @ Tapas Bar
The Tapas Bar is a great location direct at the beach of Had Sai Khao on the tropical island Ko Chang in Thailand. The beach bar on White Sand Beach offer everythink what you exept from a Restaurant on the sea: Cocktails, Beers, Reggae music, friendly staff and a beautiful sunset in the evening. Here at Tapas Bar you have the choice between meet good people from around the world, sit and chill or just read a book under trees with the ocean sound in the back. Sometimes a good Blues Band play fantastic live music here on this tropical bar at white sands on Koh Chang. The cosy bamboo hut serve aswell delicious food. My favourites are the baguettes and the french fries. The Tapas Beach Bar is open till late in night. Try it, this bar is one of Koh Chang’s to adresses on White Sand Beach. Bungalow of New Hut
On our Travel Tour through Thailand in 2006 we went to Ko Samui’s second popularest beach Hat Lamai. Here we stayed at a nice beach front Bungalowfrom the “New Hut” guest house. The cosy bungalows build direct on the perfect white beach of Hat Lamai. We price was 300 Thai Baht. The small rooms have a fan and a mosquito net. In night time the sound of the ocean will sing a good night song for you. The Restaurant and Cocktail Bar of the New Hut accommodation serve authentic Thai food and some western dishes. The staff will help you for all kind of travel questions and the desk offer bookings for all kind of activities like scuba diving for a fair price. The New Hut in the south of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand was one of our best accommodation on our travel tour. The On On Hotel is direct in the center of the capital of Thailand‘s Phuket Province. The Guest Houseat the south offer old but nice rooms with charme for a good backpacker price. We paid on our Thailand Travel Tour 06300 Thai Baht for a two bed room with a own bathroom and a fan. Around the Guest House, next to a Chinese Shrine, are many Restaurants and Bar’s which are easy to reach by foot. The Friendly staff team of the On On Hotel are really helpful for travel trips and tips around Phuket and whole South East Asia. The building are in Chinese and Portuguese architecture and have a bit of end time feeling. The rooms at On On accommodation are famous from the movie “The Beach” with Leonardo DiCaprio as the main actor. At the Hotel desk you can rent Motorbikes to explore the city in your individual style. As well they offer Travel Tours around Thailandand connections to many destinations in Asia. I can recommend this cosy Hostel for Backpacker who want to feel the flair of an old but beautiful Guest House with atmosphere for a good price. In 2007 on my Southeast Asian Travel Tour through Malaysia, Singapore and Bali I checked in at Le Village in Kuala Lumpur’s China Town district. The cosy guest house is a old established Hostel with a lot of charme and atmosphare. The staff at Le Village accommodation is friendly and helpful for travel tips. At this easy going establishment I paid 12 Ringit for a single room with fan. Here at Le Village accommodation in Malaysia you can cook by yourself, the share backpacker kitchen is not the cleanest one but have everythink what you need. One floor up is a public TV room where the Backpacker “family” meet in the evening to talk about travel experience from the last destinations and share pictures. I enjoyed my time here in this simple guest house in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The people are friendly and the price is cheap. to the Metro it is not far, after about 5 minutes walking through the city you will reach the station. It’s the right choice for low budget travelers on their way through Peninsular and whole Asia.

We enjoyd the 5 star Resort because of the clean and beautiful rooms with atmosphare and the friendly staff of the Graceland hotel on Koh Phuket in south Thailand. Try as well the Massage and the Spa service of the hotel, here you can relax and enjoy your holiday without compromises! On the end of the th Bangla Road in a small street is the touch villa Guest House located. The small and cozy garden is surrounded of two rows of clean and nice rooms with Air Con/Fan, own hot water shower, TV and a big fridge. The price was 300 Thai Baht on our Travel Tour 2006 through south Thailand. The daily room service brings new towels and keeps the friendly rooms clean. This good accommodation address in Patong Beach offer as well Internet and tour booking service for daytrips or travel info’s for many destinations in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Here you can book your ticket to Koh Phi Phi or your scuba diving lessons on Phuket Island. Touch Villa Guest House is a really good accommodation for tourists on holidays or Backpackers on travel tour. The beach is around 250 meters through the Nightlife Street Th Bangla away. You can walk as well the Th hat Patong to the beach and the warm water of the Andaman Sea. This Guest House is one of my favorites in Asia, not just because of the price. Try the good service of this good address for accommodation on Patong on Koh Phuket. Be surprised what you can except for a cheap price in this busy town in South Thailand.
Old City Guest House
The old city accommodation offer a good choice of rooms for a cheap Backpacker price at old Sukhothai. The Guest House is direct opposite the Ramkhamhaeng National Museum and the Wat Trapang Thong Temple. To the old holy temple ruins of Sukhothai are not far from here. The historical park is easy to reach by motorbike, bike or by foot. The rooms at the old city guest house are huge and clean. We paid 300 Baht for a double room with hot water bathroom, TV and Fan. The rooms with Air Con are a bit more expansive but still cheap and a good choice for traveler and tourists who like a quiet room with comfort and style. The staff of this hostel is very friendly and will help you with any booking for your travel tour. The house is made of teak wood which brings a friendly and warm atmosphere to this hotel in Thailand‘s old capital. The guest house don’t offer food, but next to it are two Restaurants which I can recommend: the Charmin Restaurant serve delicious Thai dishes and the Coffee Cup offer fresh coffee, Thai and Western food. We enjoyed the stay at the Old City accommodation in Sukhothai and we will check in again if we come back to this city in central Thailand. Fish School on Ko Chang
This Report I write because many custumers ask me, when I was working as a Padi Divemaster, what we can exept and what we will see on a Scuba Dive on Koh Chang in Thailand. My first Fun Dive here on this tropical Island I did as a Open Water Diver in december 2006 near Koh Rang on the Koh Yak Lek Dive spot near Koh Mak. This Dive site has a maximum deep of 12 meter which is good for long and colourful dives. At the national park a bit south of Ko Chang you will reconize huge and beautiful corals and a lot of fish schools. In general the Diving here is shallow and don’t reach over 18 meter deep. Ther are just some deep dive sites around the beautiful Island in Thailand, the Koh Chang Pinnacles is one of thease. If you are lucky you will have visibilities up to 25 meter +! Nearly every dive spot are boot dives just from the Diving and Snorkel site “Koh Yuak” you can go from the beach. The best time for scuba diving this Island in the Gulf of Thailand is between November and February where are the best conditions. During the Green Season the visibility is less and it can be current. The most spectacular dive site for me is Hin Luk Bat. The dive at this amazing spot starts usual at the rope from the boat. Than you going down to about 9 meters to the beautiful corals around the rock. on the other side is the deepest point, 18 meter maximum deep are perfect for fun divers and Padi scuba courses on all levels. Here at Hin Luk Bat you can see Beaked Coralfishes, Butterfly fishes, Bannerfishes, many pink Anemonefisshes, great barracudas, morayeels, Angelfishes, damsel fishes, if you are lucky whale sharks, stone fishes and much more. The corals are as well nice here. You will reconize Table Corals, Staghorn corals, Anemone Corals, double-star corals, vase corals… . Near Hin Luk Bat are the Dive Sites Blueberry Hill which is famous for bluespotted stingrays and Hin Rap which is a famous scuba dive spot for schools of snappers, sweetlips and a lot of beautiful rocks. Here you see sometimes the titan triggerfish which is not that friendly than other fishes at the Mu Ko Chang Marine National Park in Thailand. All in all the diving on Koh Chang is shallow and easy, just sometimes are current and in high season the visibilities are mostly good. The temperatures of the Gulf of Thailand are all over year warm, warm means between 27 and 31 degrees. On Koh Chang you have the choice between 18 scuba diving center, the prices for two fun dives are between 2000 and 2600 Thai Baht in 2009. The best way is you ask at your guest house or hotel desk for more information. Or if you have a motorbike go the the dive schools and look how it look, the most important think are the tanks and the equipment and for sure the staff team. Some Center rent out a underwater camera for beautiful diving pictures from your highlight of your holidays. If everything look nice and the staff team of the Padi Dive Center are friendly and competent than you will enjoy your fun dive or your scuba course on Koh Chang in Thailand.

River near the Fish Cave
The Tham Pla National Park is around 18 km out of Mae Hong Son City and easy to reach by Motorbike. After arrival you will walk over a nice bridge through a beautiful park with old trees. The way at long a river is about 500 meters to the Fish Cave with a holy Hindu Nara statue which should protect the carps. The rare carps can be up to one meter huge. The tables and chairs at the Tham Pla park invite for a break to relax under the shadow of the high trees of Thailand‘s highlands. Between October and Mai you can recognize some rare birds who singing a song of the nature. We visited the cave on a day trip from Pai to Mae Hong Son by Scooter on the way back to Stone Free. Before we went to Baan Nai Sai Village. It’s a perfect combination of culture and nature for a nice Travel day in North Thailand.
